There’s a lot going on at LRBC!

We run a number of activities throughout the week catering for all age groups. These include Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, Toddler Group,  Ladies Fellowship and many more. We also provide regular one off events for men, women and families. Use the links on the left to explore the various regular activities and find out what’s happening at LRBC in your age-group. This Week   (comm. Monday 30th March)

Monday: Boys Brigade will be meeting: Anchor Boys at 5.45pm, Juniors, Company and Seniors at 6.45pm.

Tuesday: Girls Brigade will be meeting: Explorers at 5.45pm, Juniors, Seniors and Brigaders at 6.45pm.

Wednesday Walk: A walk along the Leathley lanes – less than 4 miles. Meet at Leathley – junction of Leathley Lane, Hall Lane and Stainburn Close to start walking at 10am. Some parking on grass verge. We may well lunch in Otley afterwards See Stuart for any more details.

Wednesday: Toddler Group will be meeting at 1 – 2.30pm.

Wednesday: Dig Deeper - 7.30pm at Cottage Road.  The subject is “Serving in teams.”

Thursday: Student Bible Study is on Easter break until Thursday 23rd April.

Thursday: Prayer Meeting – We meet at 8.00pm for Prayer. Roger will lead the meeting.

Good Friday:  Our Good Friday Morning Service will start at 10.30am at Cottage Road. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during the service. Pastor Matthew Seymour will be the speaker.  Following the service we will share a light lunch and a time of fellowship.  There will be a family friendly walk in the afternoon weather permitting.

Easter Sunday: Sean Raby invites you to wrap up warm and join him at Otley Chevin – Surprise Point (grid reference SE204442 – just off York Road) on Easter Sunday (5th April) at 06:15! We will watch the sunrise (06:30) and reflect on the meaning of Easter through informal Bible reading, prayer and a few songs. You would be welcome afterwards at our house for breakfast before heading to church for 10:30 service. Please contact Sean (sean@rabys.org.uk) if you intend on coming. Transport may be available and children very welcome.

Thursday 2nd July: LRBC Church Members Meeting 7.30pm at Cottage Road.

Saturday 4th July:Annual trip to Filey – We’re off to the seaside on our annual beach trip ending with fish and chips.  If you intend coming speak to Simon or Grace Smith.

Sunday 5th July: Brigade Service AM.

Sunday 5th July: Picnic in Hall Park after the morning service. More information later.

Saturday 12th July:  Kirkstall Festival - More Information later.
