There’s a lot going on at LRBC!

We run a number of activities throughout the week catering for all age groups. These include Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, Toddler Group,  Ladies Fellowship and many more. We also provide regular one off events for men, women and families. Use the links on the left to explore the various regular activities and find out what’s happening at LRBC in your age-group. This Week   (comm. Monday 20th April)

Our Brigades are on Easter Break.

Tuesday: Cleaning Evening: We are going to spring clean the rooms at our Cottage Road building, 7-8.30pm.  There are jobs to suit everyone.  If you would like to help and the date is inconvenient please contact Irene for a job to do in your own time or contact the church office.

 Wednesday: Toddler Group will be meeting at 1 – 2.30pm.

 Thursday: Student Bible Study – starting at 5.45pm at Cottage Road.  We begin with a meal followed by Bible Study and prayer.  Matty will lead the study in John 16:5-33.

Thursday/Friday: Growth Groups – We meet at various homes.  Please speak to Matthew Seymour if you would like to join a group.

Friday: Ladies Fellowship – takes place this Friday at Cottage Road. We meet at 12.30pm for a ‘Bring your own lunch’ followed by Bible Study and prayer at 1.15pm. All ladies are welcome and a crèche is provided. For more information please speak to Barbara Brownnutt.

Saturday:  LRBC walk – Our walk will be on the moors above Haworth.  We will be in Bronté country and learn a little about them and visit the now deserted Withins which featured in Wuthering Heights.  Meet at Cottage Road at 9:15am for a prompt departure at 9:30.  You will need warm and waterproof clothing, walking boots or sturdy walking shoes – and a picnic.  Please let Stuart know if you want to be sure of a seat on the minibus. Pastor Roger Barden will be speaking at our Morning Service (10.30am) at St Margaret’s and Pastor Matthew Seymour  will be speaking at our Evening Service (6.00pm) at Cottage Road.

 Wednesday 6th May: Dig Deeper - 7.30pm at Cottage Road.  The subject is “What does the Bible say about guidance?”

Tuesday 12th May: Grey Matters - Yorkshire Tea – Meeting at 2.30pm at Cottage Road.  Roger Carswell will be the speaker.

Saturday 4th July:Annual trip to Filey – We’re off to the seaside on our annual beach trip ending with fish and chips.  If you intend coming speak to Simon or Grace Smith.
